Product Description:

CHEM SEAL-105 PRO is an advanced, high-performance two-component elastomeric cementitious waterproofing system. It consists of a premium-grade cementitious powder and a specially engineered acrylic polymer liquid. When mixed together, CHEM SEAL-105 PRO forms a smooth, flexible, and crack-bridging waterproof coating that provides long-lasting protection against water ingress for concrete and masonry structures above and below ground level.

CHEM SEAL-105 PRO is specially designed for demanding waterproofing applications where enhanced durability, adhesion, and resistance to water pressure are required.

Surface Preparation

• Substrate must be clean, structurally sound, and free from dust, oil, grease, laitance, or loose material

• Remove old coatings, defective plaster, and contaminants

• Prepare surfaces using high-pressure water cleaning or abrasive blasting

• Avoid aggressive methods such as scabbling

• Thoroughly wash the surface with clean water before application

• Pre-dampen the surface prior to coating

Mixing Instructions

Power Mixing

1. Shake CHEM SEAL-105 PRO liquid component thoroughly

2. Pour liquid into a clean mixing container

3. Slowly add powder component while mixing with a slow-speed electric mixer

4. Mix until a uniform, lump-free slurry is obtained

5. Allow mixture to stand for 4–5 minutes before application

Hand Mixing

For small quantities, add powder into liquid while stirring continuously using a trowel or paddle.

Consistency

The mixed material should be thick, creamy, and lump-free, capable of supporting the weight of a stiff brush.

• Pot life at 20°C: approx. 1 hour

• Pot life at 40°C: approx. 30 minutes

• Do not re-temper the mix once setting has started

Application Method

First Coat

• Apply on a pre-dampened surface using a stiff fiber brush

• Minimum application rate: 0.75 kg/m²

• Brush material well into the substrate

• Avoid spreading too thin

• Finish in one direction only

• Allow overnight curing before second coat

Second Coat

• Apply when first coat has hardened sufficiently

• Minimum application rate: 0.75 kg/m²

• Apply perpendicular to first coat

• Can be applied by brush, broom, or spray

• Texture may be added if plaster or render is to be applied later

Curing

• Fog-spray with clean water after initial set

• Continue curing as long as practicable

• In cold, humid, or poorly ventilated areas, extend curing time or provide forced air circulation

Coverage

• Approx. 120–150 sq.ft per 16 kg pack

• Coverage depends on surface roughness

• Rough surfaces may increase material consumption by up to 50%

Cleaning

Clean all tools and equipment immediately after use with clean water.

Storage & Shelf Life
